The ECO is hiring for one (1) permanent Communications and Outreach Co-ordinator position.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative individual to direct the development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives, marketing and advertising, public education and Environmental Bill of Rights (EBR) outreach programs. As a Communications and Outreach Co-ordinator at the ECO, you will promote the mandate, policies and programs of the ECO and facilitate the communication and distribution of its reports and findings to the members of the Legislature, the media and the public at large.

This role involves: developing and implementing strategies and action plans that engage, inform and educate stakeholders (including MPPs, special interest groups, media, academics and the general public); liaising with media; and preparing communications products based on ECO research and reports.
